Google Business View FAQ

HOW MUCH DOES THE SERVICE COST?

Google Business View is a one-time cost with no monthly recurring charges. The pricing depends on the size of your location and the layout of your business. To give you an accurate quote, we offer each business a free estimate. We encourage you to take advantage of this service and bet that you’ll be surprised at just how affordable it is to showcase your business in this unique way.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE BEFORE THE TOUR IS ONLINE?

From the time we come in and take the photographs it typically takes about 1 week before the tour will show up online as long as all the photos adhere to Google’s Quality Standard. Occasionally we do have to reshoot a business to ensure that the business looks the best it can be on Google, but this is rare.

DO I NEED TO CLOSE MY BUSINESS DURING THE PHOTOSHOOT?

The determination on when your shoot will be scheduled will be worked out with your Business View Consultant, your photographer, and yourself. Typically businesses stay open during the shoot and we just ask customers to stand out of the shots. If we feel that having your place of business open will detract from the shoot then we will work with you to take the photos at a convenient time so we have the least amount of impact to your business. We can even shoot before hours or after hours depending on your circumstances.

HOW LONG IS THE PHOTOSHOOT?

Each shoot is a bit different because each business is unique in size and layout. However, the typical shoot takes from about 1-2 hours. The bigger your business the more time it takes to properly photograph your location. Your Business View Consultant will discuss timeframes when they meet with you so you can plan accordingly.

HOW DO I KNOW MY BUSINESS WILL LOOK GOOD?

Prior to the shoot, you will meet with our Business View Consultant during the free estimate. They will give pointers and suggestions as they work with you. Once a photographer has been assigned to your business they will set an appointment to come and look around and again offer suggestions and tips to get the most out of the shoot. Additionally on shoot day, the photographer will again make sure everything looks the best it can when photographing. We are a marketing company and out team’s job is to help you showcase your business in the best way possible.

I HAVE SOME COOL IDEAS, CAN YOU IMPLEMENT THEM?

We love to hear our clients ideas and will always take them into consideration. Unfortunately, not all suggestions and ideas are implemented due to the fact that the Google Quality Standard dictates the way we photograph your business. This standard is in place to make sure that your business looks the best it can online. In order to leverage Google’s technology and place your business onto Google, we must adhere to their guidelines. Each of our consultants and photographers are well versed in the Google Quality Standard and will be able to tell you what is and is not allowed.
